With the Beurer steam vaporiser the hot water is enclosed in a water heater tank which means it cannot easily spill onto your skin. Forget your kettle because the vaporiser heats the water in approximately 2 minutes. The variable steam regulator holds the vapour at a constant temperature so you can be sure of a steady stream of warm, moist air. The adjustable slider control regulates the amount of steam produced and the flexible mask which covers your mouth and nose ensures that your treatment is comfortable and personal to you. For hygiene reasons, it is essential that every user has their own mask to avoid cross infection and it should be replaced every 12 months.
The vaporiser is fitted with an automatic cut out to ensure that the optimum recommended treatment time of 10 minutes is not exceeded and is fitted with a thermal fuse to prevent overheating.
The SI 40 can be used in conjunction with other therapies such as a saline solution or inhalation oils. The device is not intended for commercial or clinical use; it is designed exclusively for self treatment at home.
It is recommended that the unit is cleaned after each use following the manufacturer’s instructions provided.
